The final straw(s) in San Diego for me were:
*Walked past a dead hobo leaning against our local grocery store
*Spent brass cartridge shells littering the streets
*Awoke multiple times to blood curdling screams and the familiar sound of someone being beaten to death in our apartment complex (we lived in East County, supposedly a Republican "safer" area)
*Our bank burned down by BLM, numerous Malcolm X / Che stickers showing up on every street sign and bus stop
Never looked back, never happier.
I was living in San Diego, so taxes are drastically lower ANYWHERE I decided to move. The wife and I want to buy a medium-sized home and raise a kid or two. The schools out here seem less infected w SJW crap while still being A+, and I feel like it's a community where we can make a big positive influence. My wife wants to work with Military Veterans, and I'd like to start up a tap room & kitchen, perhaps roast and sell my own coffee. The state seems really ripe ground for new businesses and ideas, and the people here have just been THE BEST.
Set up temporary camp SW of Omaha, will likely move to a suburb of Lincoln. That town is exactly the kind of place I want to raise a family. The people are fantastic.

I'm loving it. Lots of reeetards for me to trigger, surprisingly. I have a Trump 2020/US flag sticker on my front door and the girl across from me put up a handwritten "TRUMP LOST LOL!" note. Each day I leave the sticker up I can tell she gets more pissed off. The constant door slamming makes me and my wife crack up daily.

Twitter operated for years and YEARS without making a profit. It's stock debuted at just $17 back in 2016 when they were even more "relevant". They're not going anywhere, unfortunately. They have so much financial backing from silicon valley, they'll just bail it out behind the scenes if they have to (but they won't need to).
Also a horde of us looking it up constantly on search engines (you better not still be using google) keeps it relevant. Just ignore it if you want it to go away. I haven't been on twitter in so long, the only reason I'm reminded it exists is because everyone has been posting about it here on TDW lately.
