Eliminating private banks will only hurt the little guy. They'll use it to kill off hometown banks and force you to use BoA. You know they will because that's how it always works. We need MORE private banking at the community level so you have choices in where your money goes and what kind of currency you use.

Another note: I said I can't speak on the deadliness of Zyklon B. Maybe I can actually. The poster claiming this admitted it was toxic, but simply not enough to kill. Well, in the first hand accounts of Auschwitz I have read, the witnesses say that after victims were gassed, many were still alive. So the Nazis may have been content to have them "dead enough" to dispose of.

It seemed to me that basically there was a spiral of viciousness in Nazi Germany. Earlier on they are just expelling undesirables, then they start rounding them up and putting them in work camps, then mass killings begin. They were doing mass executions by firing squad at first. Somewhere in those docs on AHF there is an internal memo where they are talking about how to kill off people. This was Russia or Poland I think. Basically the author said he'd considered locking men, women and children into barns and setting them on fire, but he was afraid word would get out to the populace so decided against it.

There was another memo from Himmler I read a number of years ago in which he described how a better method, more "hands off" if you will, of performing mass executions was needed because mass shooting was stressful for his SS men to perform.

Now I look at the gas chambers. Most people I see arguing that the gas chambers were impossible do not seem to have read the actual accounts. They ask how gas could be piped in through shower heads. It seems to me the "showers" were a euphamism used to herd people into the building. The actual execution was performed by just tossing gas canisters in through the windows.

Now I see people saying Zyklon B is not deadly. This I can't speak on.

I also see people saying there was no corresponding dip in the global Jewish population to account for the 6 or so million dead. Yet I have read that there was indeed such a dip, and how big it was exactly varies by estimate but between 4 and 6 million Jews basically vanish. This is taking migration to other locations into account. So it seems to me that people are not fully studying this matter yet they think they have because they have read about it from various websites. If they had fully studied it, they should have rebuttals; i.e., they should know that estimates do show a population dip, and be able to explain why the data is not trustworthy.

I also see people saying that 6 million is a number which comes up repeatedly before WWII. As I understand it, this was approximately the Jewish population in the Soviet states, which instituted anti-Jewish pogroms in the 20s and 30s. The actual population was 5 point something million but the newspapers rounded to a nice neat number. The people saying this number "appears" magically in papers back then don't know about the pogroms and haven't realized the papers use the sams number because they are all talking about the same population! I tried to point this out to someone who showed me one of these videos and he told me I was speaking in "word salad." He believed what he wanted to.

These same people then say the Soviets were pro-Jewish. They were not. Many Jews were pro-Bolshevik, and then it bit them in the rear later. Many Jews fled the USSR during the 20s and 30s. And there were some who first fled from there to Germany, and then had to flee again.

This was show, not policy. Maryland was not a confederate state, despite some areas perhaps being full of sympathizers. Likewise, WV split from VA to stay with the Union, but there were democrats living there, and there were many Union sympathizers living in Virginia, a Confederate state. Maryland never sent delegates to the Confederate congress.

Also, PA was definitely not the south! Lee invaded the north as essentially an act of desperation. You can debate the merits of that choice, but he was well aware it was Union territory and he was stretching his supply lines to do it. There's a reason they only tried it twice.
