What wisdom are you gleaning from Islam?
That women are lesser than men in faith and intelligence? That girls as young as nine can get married to men decades older than them? That men can marry four wives (and have sex slaves)? That gays should be killed? That apostates should be executed?
The only texts in Islam are the Quran and Hadith. Nothing else matters. All of the wishy washy peaceful phrases in both come from the Mecca period when Muhammad was not in power. The moment he was granted power in Medina did all of the peace go out the window to be replaced by submission to him and his vile god.
