Would have been hilarious if the real supporters (not antifa) had just sad in all the chairs of each chamber and had a sit in protest.

If Italy did it, it was at the behest of China. Italy and China are trying to strengthen financial ties after all.

Because everyone has been talking about objecting for a week or so now. This was punishment for objecting. The excuse is the events today.

I think that's the big takeaway. Trump didn't want this, and its probably hurt anything he was trying to do, or will do in the next 20 days. It looks like those that were going to object will now certify.

And it says in the constitution that political violence goes against the constitution. Political violence. Which is different from throwing off a tyrannical government. We haven't experienced real tyranny yet. Recalling govenors over covid restrictions would have been done by the founding fathers, first. Had a governor tried to retain power, then they would have been forcefully removed. Remember, they spent around 20 years protesting the British, peacefully and legally, before revolting. The 1st amendment comes before the 2nd down the list for a reason.

The key to the revolutionary war was public sentiment. The vast majority of citizens by that time were done with British rule. By contrast, we just had 4 years of Trump.

Now, having said all that, marching on Washington was the right move. But I believe a small group of antifa instigated the "violence", successfully, and patriots followed suit thinking the happening was happening, egged on by other agitators. This whole thing was advertised. Anyone could show up. I'm angry at all the same things you all are, but now the narrative is about the "violence", instead of the march itself.

I'm sure many won't like what I've said, but I think it does need to be said.

ETA: And watching Charlie Kirk, he's hearing rumors on the hill that impeachment/25th amendment is a real possibility now. So that's great.

The other thing that helped the founding fathers was everyone on the sidelines having lived through the crowns rule. We haven't lived through Biden/China's rule. I don't want to, believe me. However, by the time of the revolution, those that wanted to remain under British rule were an extreme minority. Not 50%.

The founding fathers also peacefully protested for about 20 years of Crown rule before revolting.

I believe the message was about exhausting all peaceful and legal avenues, first. Waging revolution as a last resort, with remorseful and resolute determination. Not excited larping while taking selfies.

Among many things, the best thing we can do is to preserve history. The history that was written long before academia started rewriting it. Imagine if 1619 became state sanctioned.

Archive everything. Archive Levin and Rush. If possible, archive the National Archives. Teach it to your children. It will be boring for them, but find a way to teach it.

America was never 100% perfect, but we strove for it. That is the most important piece of history to preserve, and all the other pieces back that up.

Oh cool. So when I break any rules about masks etc, as they aren't actual laws, the police and judges have no standing. Thanks for the precedent.

Crafted September 2018. Relies on the DOJ doing its part. Which DOJ? Sessions' DOJ, or Barr's when he came in around December.

This seems to hinge on that one department alone now, and its not been doing a good job. Unless we're to believe everything Barr has and hasn't done, has been with this plan in mind. What says Sessions hasn't told anyone else about this EO/plan?

Everything else looks good, but the DOJ seems to be the once piece to undo it all. Hope I'm wrong.

There must be a reason he's kept Barr. Its not like they have dirt on Trump.

Wray is just a big question mark as to why he's still around.

It really should have been done in the first 100 days, but now more than ever, Trump & company needs to make domestic propaganda illegal again.

Ok. I'm MAGA all the way and support Trump. But this place is giving me whiplash.

Trump celebrated these vaccines coming out so quickly, but now we're against them? We loved Bannon, then we hated his guts, now Bannon is back on the menu?

Then why are election people touching camera equipment. Abd why would camera equipment be stored under a table, and not off to the side of the room, or better yet being expensive stuff, remain with the camera crew wherever they are.

Autists need to get this stuff to the lawyer, before posting it anywhere else. I will assume these autists know to do that, of course. ;)
