I live here in DC. It's a tiny shithole city with a brick and shiny marble veneer. Been here off and on most of my life and it still blows my mind every time I see some high dollar lobbyist types walking up the street with their coffee, yet thirty feet down a cramped alley its half overgrown with swamp plant life and open trash bags.
There are definitely some right leaning types but in my experience it doesn't matter. This city is all about who you know.
