There was a post by someone who worked on a Trump property before Trump got into politics that basically said Trump preferred regular people to elites. I imagine Trump prefers to drive his own cart to enjoy the entire experience of the game. We also know he’s fun loving.
One of my favorite professors and I clashed on this hard. I’m from Albany. I grew up with the children of Clinton staffers. Hillary is pure evil, this is nothing novel to this group but to many people it is. I would have voted for the devil himself before Hillary.
Technically, we need set backs like these in order to appeal to the higher courts and get to SCOTUS. It’s frustrating, but if we want ultimate victory under Judicial Review and long standing legal precedent, we need to “lose” to these activist judges so we can get to Thomas, Alito, ACB, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch.

Oh my god it’s actually insane. My second major was poli sci. I constantly have to think about the people in my general level HS civics class and remember those mouth breathers votes count the same as mine. People who couldn’t comprehend supply and demand let alone exhaustive tax codes or other government workings. It’s disheartening how stupid the average human being is.
