Same here. It was hard at first but I'm slowly letting them go one by one. A couple of them dumped me rudely and abruptly after the election. It was hurtful at first but their ideology disgusts me so I'm better off and don't miss them.

I moved out of Virginia in 2015 and was never required to show a photo ID or voter card while voting there. You gave your name and the poll worker looked it up in a computer and that was that.

My family six generations back owned slaves. I'm not proud of it but I don't feel guilty, either. It is what it is. This wasn't common knowledge in our family. I discovered this while working on family genealogy. The other side of my family immigrated to the US in 1928 so do I only owe half reparations?
I grew up in the South and was an adult before I realized that many non-southerners consider the Confederate flag a symbol of slavery.

I've finally had to admit that Lindsey Graham is a swamp creature. McCain took Graham's secrets with him but he's worried now that if Obama is questioned it will all come out.
I agree with almost everything. I was a nurse for many years and nurses are brutal to each other. Of course, there are exceptions, but nurses can be very mean. After all my years of nursing I still don't understand why.
