I submit to you the recent remakes of Resident Evils 2 and 3. Both are fantastic.

In Riverside County, where I live, it's very visibly conservative. We don't have shy Trump voters, if anything, we have shy Biden voters. We consistently send Republicans to Congress, State Senate and State Assembly. State Sen. Melissa Melendez, a conservative firebrand in our state who I have big future hopes for, is widely loved here BECAUSE of her conservatism. Democrat candidates don't stand a chance here, but, God help them, they keep trying. There are Trump flags flying at most street corners. There are Trump rallies thrown by citizens who know the campaign will never come here.

Yet somehow in 2016 and 2020 the county went to Clinton and Biden, respectively.

I get the feeling pollsters have a huge sway in whether Fox calls anything. And as we've learned in 2016 and again tonight, pollsters are basically the alchemists of our age.

Word of warning to your husband, it's probably going to be a lot of insufferable bullshit about drugs and cackling while they joke about the world ending

The Babylon Bee had a headline a while back that the GOP would campaign by just running videos of Dems speaking.

That is now a main feature at our rallies

Bethel University had a Seminary near me in San Diego, but they closed it after my class graduated.

The Seminary itself was actually fairly conservative, but about half the student body was from the liberal wing of our faith. One guy, an Anglican priest, actually cried at the thought of a Black Christian having to worship in a church that had paintings of a White Jesus. It was a fun place to be a student during Trump's first win.

As for me, I now pastor a relatively small Baptist church in Riverside County, CA called Rockridge Church.

Yours and mine both. A lot of my fellow M.Div. students were hardcore SJW types. Had some really interesting nights talking to them about gender and sexuality

Maybe I missed it (for years), but it seems like she only started wearing Chucks to appear more human during the campaign

Wow! Anyone know what speech these words are from?

"The more that a broken system tells you that you're wrong, the more certain that you should be that you must keep pushing ahead, you must keep pushing forward."

That might be the most brilliant, insightful thing I've ever heard him say.

The real question is, who should we have be our Speaker of the House in 2021?

I hereby nominate Dan Crenshaw.

Joe Biden: "I AM THE TABLE!"

Only a few will get it.

Disney/ABC/ESPN scooped it up in 2013. If you ever wonder where the money comes from, or who keeps giving him attention, there's your answer.

After 2016's election, Nate Silver said something like, "either this was a fluke, or the data and polling industry is a sham." Folks, I think soon we'll have our answer.

Gustavo Fring might be one of the best-written characters ever. Right after Saul Goodman

It's sad how he turned out. I got to hear him speak at a faith and politics conference back in 2016 and it made me so hopeful. Everyone in the room was ready to call him the next President, after Trump's two terms, of course. The way he talked about liberty and the Constitution and the importance of originalism and textualism excited us all.

In his work, though, I'm left wondering where the fruit of all that intelligence and charisma is. Trump is right, Sasse is ineffective. He doesn't do anything. And he's always hated the MAGA movement. Maybe he's like Rand Paul and just hates any strong unitary executive and wants a President who views his office as small and restrained.

You know, hypothetically.
