You saying you already got a local defense force organized? Hopefully you got a national one, but local is enough. I know what a resistance should look like and I'm not seeing it, I see a lot of lone wolf gun nuts that aren't coordinating together in any way

I could see making the equivalent suit out of real military surplus, maybe minus the red growing eyes. S10 gasmask, old German helmet or maybe a kevlar US one, lots of body armor, etc
