I think we are on the "L" and not the "A". It's to the point where electoral integrity has been extremely compromised and neither side will accept the other side's victory. These "good cops" will look completely the other way when their partner or superior/CO goes on a power trip right in front of them (ie. roughing up or even killing an otherwise cooperative handcuffed suspect, no I'm not referring to George Floyd), or when word gets around to the rest of the precinct of the bad cop's misdeeds (whether through rumor or whatever else), none of these "good cops" will do what is right and bring justice to them. The few that try are intimidated, harassed, relegated to paperwork, forced to quit because of the previous 3, or in extreme cases are suspiciously found dead (an example of just how corrupt the LAPD were and probably still are https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rampart_scandal).
