I was 100% NOT voting for Trump when I heard he was running. Thought it was a joke. I knew him as a businessman and a TV star, but I never watched anything with him in it or heard him speak. I was actually hoping for Rubio, which looking back on is quite embarrassing. I decided to take one of those online voting tests in 2016 to see who I sided with not knowing peoples policies, and I got an outstanding 98% match to Trump. I couldn't believe it. I watched one of his rallies and was hooked. Looking up his views on things I found interviews as far back as the 80's with him saying the same things. He wasn't one of those people who flip flopped on things to get votes. He was an actual man of his word. He now had my vote 100%. 4 years later my life has been improved drastically thanks to the man!
As far as TheDonald goes, I of course came from you know where. I was a huge supporter of the president and would voice my opinions on politics boards and get thumbs downed into oblivion. Someone commented I should go join thedonald which is the only place I would be allowed with my biggoted hate speech (Showing any positive news about our wonderful president). Then I saw more and more people talking about how vile and violent the sub was, so I did avoid it for a week. Quickly realized how fucking retarded redditors were I decided to look in the sub myself and saw nothing but love. Started posting and it was great there, started to go there multiple times a day and was my favorite place. When the site opened I was still pretty naïve and thought the quarantine wasn't so bad, at least we could still talk. It wasn't until we were outright banned that I joined here. Now it's my homepage and I check here multiple times a day, maybe an unhealthy amount and I love all of you!
