It's not an "obsession" for them. It's a way of life.

Dying is a risk I may have to take. But I would not go into any fight with the attitude that I'm going to die in a blaze of glory.

Unless you wanna have an armed rebellion...

We don't want it. But we're willing to accept it for the sake of saving the Republic.

Large difference.

If our cable system carried OAN news, we probably wouldn't have dropped cable.

I have contacted Corman.

Please be aware that Jake Corman is the senator representing Centre County, home of the Pennsylvania State University and the farthest-left, most wimpy-liberal. neo-leninist hive of faggots and cucks outside of Filthadelphia.

Please annex Ontario too

Fuck, no. I lived and worked in Canada for ten years, and I can tell you that Ontario is a massive lefty shithole, and Toronto is its biggest turd.

Okay, I know that there are a few based humans in Ontario, and I feel for you. But you're far, far outnumbered by the Che Guevarra wannabes.

People can't imagine the entire media establishment is nothing but deep state propaganda. The scale of it is almost incomprehensible. It's the sort of thing it that can take years to come to terms with and something you've got to learn for yourself.

I couldn't have put it better.

No. But 70% of the electorate still believes that it's standing.

Fortunately most people now distrust the media.

Most people here on TD do. But in the wider world, great swaths of low-information Americans still think that the TeeVee only broadcasts the Word of God.

my husband was musing about building a free gun range just so we could collect the brass from people practicing.

Your husband is a wise man. I've been picking up brass at my range for years, reloading it and putting it in the stockpile. .223 is the most common of all; it seems that a lot of people treat .223 brass as a disposable nuisance, like used Dixie cups.

Lacquered ammo caused stovepiping in my Mini-14. Never gave me trouble in any of the other guns. So yes it can be a problem, but it's not inevitable.

We don't need infighting or internet dick comparisons.

This isn't something we should want, but we should be ready to go if needed.

Well said.

Stop pushing for something experienced people don’t want.

I get where you're coming from, but only a few people around here actually want political violence. Most of us hope and pray that such a thing doesn't happen, but want to be physically, mentally and spiritually prepared if it's forced upon us.

A side benefit is that when the left understands that we are willing to take up arms, however reluctantly, it will dampen their enthusiasm for lighting any fuses.

But when they decide they don't want to play any more, they become a lot harder to identify.

It wasn't a major setback. The Pennsylvania "supreme" [sic] court is a far-left, democrat-controlled rubber stamp body, and everyone knew it. No one, least of all Team Trump, was in any way surprised.

good luck doing that in places like Oklahoma that place is MAGA land

It's not just Oklahoma. Pennsylvania is ruled by the corrupt marxist citadels of Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, but the rest of the state -- and it's a big one -- are solid red. Any bolshevik wannabes who come out into the sticks looking for trouble will regret it, very quickly.

So the LEO's would end up with each individual leo picking their side almost immediately and staying there. I don't even think it would be a big factor in the whole deal.

I agree, rooftop. I think that too many people are imagining "CWII" as something like 1861-65, with one section of the country splitting off from the rest.

But this time, the ideological divide isn't regional in nature. Which means that the violence is mainly going to happen where the greatest concentrations of lefties are -- the cities. Yes, some smaller areas will see sporadic tantrum-attacks (including mine; I live within driving distance of a large university), but it's mainly going to be an urban phenomonon.

Our biggest problem, I believe, is large-scale organization. The left has it, and we don't.

we have leadership we just need a better organized command system at the lower levels

I wish I could give you more than one upvote, Captain, because you are addressing a burning need on our part -- organization. And it's one that we dare not go on ignoring much longer.

The only thing is Trump isn’t attacking him on Twitter. Makes me wonder.

Me, too. If he's really as bad as some of us think he is, it makes no sense that DJT hasn't dropped at least a few disparaging remarks about him. In fact, in one of the pre-election rallies, he even specifically said some nice things about Barr. So I'm still willing to wait and see.
