Reading that article i understand why the state fired those social the workers because the shirts are very unprofessional but i think its important to remember that these people are similar to police in the way that they are exposed to the horrible realities of what can happen to some children and that dark humor is really the only way some people can cope with the horrible stuff they are exposed to on a daily basis. So i dont want to judge these women to harshly

Me and my wife are foster parents. We dont do it for the measly amount of money the state gives you which if your doing the job right is less than what you put out we do it because we know for a fact that we can provide a safe loving home for children that desperately need it. The solution to this problem isnt souless state run orphaneges its more good people with good values and morales opening up their hearts and homes to help those who need it more than anybody. I get that their are shitty and dangerous people that also do this for the wrong reasons but to me the only way to counter it is to have good righteous people doing this job. Its definetly not an easy thing to do but it is 100 worth the effort and I wish more good people who know that they can provide that safe space would do so.
