you are talking from your perspective ("I'm conservative, so if Hillary won I would be so angry that I would do something"), but look at it from a perspective of a "liberal": Trump actually won, so they got triggered, they got "accelerated" - how did that work out for them? Did they create any new quality because of this? Did they manage to gather, to make some big community (like The_Donald?)?

you know the best thing is we have muslim people, damn, we even have "our own" muslim people - The Tatars (delicious cousine, but not hummus or falafel!) it's just that we didn't accept the "refugees", at the time when Germany invited millions of them, we invited 1.5 million people from Ukraine when the fighting have been really hard there, and they enriched us culturally in a good way (20 year old Ukrainian woman is a much better deal for a country than a 20 year old Afghan guy)
we also have a lot of people from Syria - and they are working here because they came here as economic immigrants who work hard to make living
