Thanks.

It's actually nice to hear this. The media is a shit show, I suppose, and maybe I'll defer to here for actual opinions some more.

I totally understand not wanting illegals. I get the idea of wanting something more, or wanting to come here, it's why I came. But if you're going to do it the wrong way then you're probably a piece of shit or just going to be a burden on society. I mean I was lucky enough to find a route, but I have put six years of effort into it, so if someone just hops the border, then, yeah, fuck them.

Not illegal. Done everything asked of me and jumping through hoops as required.

Canada's population is less than the state of California. The bulk of our jobs are in the oil fields (where I worked for five years before coming down here.)

My talents and skills were never recognized. I came down here because their are more jobs, people, hobbies, etc. I love Canada, but our economy is shit, our housing market is shit, and yeah. Down here if I work hard and succeed and achieve things I actually move forward and can make things happen. I love it down here, and if I can find a way to stay, legally, I would like to.

100% legally. Jumping hoops the entire way. I had to save up 30000 dollars to show a "financial guarantee" in my bank as proof I wouldn't be a burden before I could even come down here.
