We asked what benefit the 1 to 3 day delay would have for mom or the newborn and got no amswer!

They said if we refuse to let mommy and baby be separated then, mommy would have to do 100% of caring for baby, as I won't be allowed to be there.

Mommy is not supposed to get out of bed for hours after the C-section. They paint you into a corner.

I'm white, wife is hispanic. Will report on how it goes.

I know if she tests positive, even thoguh she's there for a delivery, her and the kiddo will be reported as corona cases.

Per the labor and delivery nurse we talked to this afternoon. If I or my wife test positive. I will not be allowed in the hospital. I would be dropping her off.

We've know our OB for 10 years. Same doctor that delivered my oldest 5 years ago. We'll discuss with doctor tomorrow as well and see what recommendations they have.
