Try flavored seltzer water, like Polar/La Croix/generic brand. That is probably the closest to diet soda, but no fake sugars.
I replaced most of my diet soda addiction with unsweetened tea. I like coffee as well, but can't do more than 1 caffienated/day.
You should check out Aldi! I've seen wheat bread as low as 55 cents, and it's decent. I prefer the 1.25 12 grain kind.
For real tho, the local discount store raised the cost of rye from 3.19 to 3.99 a couple of months ago. Last year it was 2.99. I buy most of my food from Aldi now, and the new Grocery Outlet ads look cool too.
Rural areas don't have as many options. Target and Amazon are also openly liberal. Maybe they shop at those places because it's all they can afford? I buy as much as I can from places like Aldi to save $$, but they don't carry everything.
This. If I'm not even allowed to step inside to get food to go, I'm not interested anymore. Coronavirus was a convenient excuse for many places to reduce their service.
All fast food places outside of a food court, including Chick Fil A, are drive thru only. People damn near wreck their cars to get that mediocre chicken. The entrance to the drive thru lane is a cluster, and people are trying to merge in from neighboring business parking lots on both sides. No thanks.
That's pretty similar to my experience with the virus itself, but over a longer time than 72h.
I'm eligible now, but not in a hurry to get vaccinated. I couldn't get any straight answer about my (temp job) employer's policy, but it seems that they will probably make us telecommute for the foreseeable future anyway. By that point, it would be dealing with the next employer's rules.
I'm in a leftist suburb, but there are more conservatives than you'd expect. I hope that it's just "woke" teenagers virtue signalling/blocking roads at worst. The local police openly allowed that much, but quickly shut down the looting attempts. They need that retail tax $$ for their pet projects.
The liberal media just gave that fool more attention. Nike supposedly disavowed and is suing him, probably because the number of Satanists buying their sneakers isn't high enough to justify the sales loss from Christians due to this "art." Many conservatives aren't cheerleaders for Nike even before this news. It's gone from the news cycle for the most part already, and they have largely moved onto Amazon drivers pissing in bottles.
IDK. All fast food is drive thru only around me.
