It has to be done. Even the young white teen protesters will bang on your car hood and harass you in the daytime. Not hilarious. I followed some Facebook pages to adjust my routes/avoid the mess.

Yes, they are not allowed to be protesting in the streets. A formal protest requires registration with the city and the protesters have to pay for security. In practice, the police allowed them to block a busy intersection for weeks around 5-7ish pm. It became a shitshow with counterprotestors on an opposite corner. Eventually it stopped as the kids had to do virtual school and the weather got bad. They are all fair weather protesters. Despite a large Black population within a short distance, the BLM protesters were almost all white teenagers.

Tl;Dr The police cucked out and let the protesters do whatever so they didn't go on to bigger things. They even held listening sessions with the BLM group.

😂 No question, agenda. The whole thing has been agenda.

This. He'll need a new identity and to move out in the middle of nowhere if he is acquitted. If convicted, he'll probably have to be in solitary for his entire sentence.

Yes. At this point it's just figuring out the schedule for those of us in blue areas. It sucks because things have been relatively peaceful.

It's like a leash. Pinging noise = better check to see if it's important.

Same. I most likely had the coof last Mar (no testing but multiple coworkers tested pos). First symptom was the worst backache that I've ever had, followed by extreme tiredness. I never lost taste or smell beyond normal allergy level, but had no desire to eat anything.

Anything and everything seems to be raycis, depending on who can get an advantage from the situation. It's hard to keep track of all of this.

I'm probably at a child level proficiency. I can make it work, but awkwardly and slowly. Nobody cares if you consume food using a fork or sticks, and I would most likely have to request chopsticks if I went to a Chinese restaurant.

Maybe. Depression after realizing that you will never look like a model/won't be viewed as good enough by a man. I was constantly stressed about weight when I was younger, and kind of settled at an average but overweight size L.

Most of them. Anyway, it's the 1 year anniversary soon. A significant # of people will reach their unemployment BYE (benefit year end) date all at once. Bottom line - The unemployment rate will magically improve as people start to get booted off.

It's kind of become lip service at this point. Many more people wearing masks on their chin lately. 6 ft rule was never observed, half assed cleaning in most retailers but restaurants required to have a comparatively sterile environment.

Yes. They are bleeding money at an astronomical rate. It's past time to open PA. CT is probably as liberal as our blue cities, and they have even opened. Wolf is only renewing that emergency declaration for the Fed funding.

I miss when businesses just sold product and didn't tell everyone their politics. Sure, we knew about some, like Ben and Jerry were always woke. Most didn't want to piss off half their customers to make a "statement."

He was married and has two children. He transitioned after the divorce. Yea, probably mental issues. Whatever. A lot of blood on hands over the nursing home deaths.

It won't just be fueling vehicles. Is he cool with paying extra for groceries and everything else at the store?

Sign is unnecessary in most areas for this reason. FAFO has been happening a lot lately.

At least Wolf is finally being held accountable for the nursing home fiasco. Maybe the R will write a strongly worded letter.

It is messed up to see more liberal states finally opening before us. Wolf has to be bleeding tax $$, and that marajuana tax won't be enough to make up for the huge revenue losses.

I expect civilian employers to do the same if legal approves, or not let people on site without a vaccine card.

Agree. States, or preferably even counties, should set min wage. It is ridiculous to compare a city to rural areas, or two states which have dramatically different costs of living.

Pede3 2 points ago +2 / -0

7.25/h. Waiter/waitress is more complicated - 2.13 in some states and depend on tips for the remainder of the wage.

Remember when JCPenneys tried the fixed price/no coupon approach around 2011-2012ish and tanked their business? Pennys also didn't have to deal with the woke issues - people get agitated if you even mentioned the name Hobby Lobby in some circles. It doesn't affect me much, but I don't think that it will work out as they hope.

The Catholic Church wants people to take the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, as the J and J vaccine has a closer tie to aborted fetal cells supposedly. Like people have any choice in the matter, besides foregoing their place in line altogether. People in PA are pissed that the J+J vaccine is already earmarked for teachers, when the 1A list still has a significant # of people waiting.
