Slippery slope is not a fallacy, it is literally the playbook of "progressives". Change things little by little until they achieve their desired outcome with minimal pushback.

UTAH UTAH COUNTY

Proposition 9 YES

Prop 9 will result in a greater distribution of power in Utah County. Currently there are only 3 commissioners for all of Utah County, two of which have been accused of corruption.

Prop 9 will instantiate a "mayor-council" form of government, 5 councilors each representing a district and one mayor representing the county as a whole. This will greatly reduce the influence a single politician can have over the County (especially a corrupt one).

Opponents like to claim that it will cause taxes increase and a bigger government. The "higher taxes" is claimed to be backed by the fact that Salt Lake County has increased their taxes since instantiating this form of government. That is like saying its wrong to have a governor because the governor of California has caused an increase of taxes. It is not the structure of government, but rather the policy of that government that has lead to those tax increases.

The "bigger government" claim is misleading. Yes, there will be more people running the government. No, that does not mean "bigger government" in the sense of trying to control more of your life. This will directly result in a dilution of power away from individual, potentially corrupt politicians and will allow each district to elect their own councilmen.

Vote YES on Prop 9 Utah County!

Honestly, I've never heard the term coyote before in this context, but it was immediately obvious what it meant to anyone with more than one brain cell.

And yet the "progressive" leftists are the only ones who say stuff about letting the "closed minded conservative grandparents just die off" to bring about their "progress"

White supremacy is just an idea, does "idea" status give the devil's work a pass?

He makes literally no medical claims about the China virus and literally just gives a standard message of hope, a "we'll get through this". Is Twitter against America making it through this pandemic or something?

Someday I'll learn to accept that they're just crazy high-degree TDS patients that have never used logic. But until that day I'll continued to be utterly bamboozled by their stupidity.

Careful, I've already seen articles trying to support permanent masks and social distancing because "there were significantly less flu cases this year in the southern hemisphere". Naturally the data did not include COVID cases, which can easily be a false positive if you have the flu.

"White supremacy" actually is just an idea, does that make it okay? Does that mean that Trump doesn't need to condemn it because an idea can't possibly do any harm?
