Someone help me here. Trump took an oath to protect the constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic. He’s doing this as we speak but if our country is at the precipice, at what point does he declare a national emergency? We are a fingernail away from a radical enemy takeover. The moment he declares a national emergency, his presidential limitations are set aside and he can act much more broadly. Use the military, etc. whatever it takes. I hope the courts give him a victory but I have no faith in them and banking on the Supreme Court is risky. Presumably the upper echelons of the military are on his side and if he gets rid of haspel and Wray, trump people are in control of the agencies. Not to mention at least 72 million Americans behind him. Something has to happen soon no?
