The crazier thing is the processing centers. We were told all ballots were separated from other mail for expedited processing. All of our mail from our very rural area goes to a distribution center that votes probably 90% Democrat.
I would assume, amongst all the terrible disorder that is this certain distribution center, if they see a tub of ballots from my "red" county and decide to forget that one or lose it altogether......who would know?
