I used to say that. Found out earlier this year that the supreme court ruled the line item veto was unconstitutional. Makes absolutely no sense. So these big omnibus bills are now a way of life. That's a problem, but we have bigger problems right now.
Someone educate me. Remember in 2016, when the votes were being cast on senate floor, democrat house members kept raising objections. Ironically, it was biden that was presiding over the senate. He kept asking if they had the support of a senator. Not one democrat senator would support them. Biden kept ruling that per the rules, you must have a senator and would then overrule their objection. My question is what happens when they do have a senator's support? My understanding is that it then opens up for debate...what does that mean? Can the senate decide not to accept the electoral vote?
No there won't and it's very disheartening to see someone talking tough about a future event. If we don't take a stand now and we allow this to happen. We never will. This is the line! We will never take a stand at any future event. We will be the ones that dropped the ball. Honestly, we deserve it. It's our children that deserved better.
It's funny. I never made an account there. Just always lurked. Just found this page today after watching Tim pool's video. Wait.... What they made their own website? It's amazing how much sweeter life is coming out of quarantine. I look forward to stealing every meme in the next couple months. Its about time to get this thing rolling.
