I scraped election results from the Michigan counties that report to https://electionreporting.com/ (only about 17 of them, but includes Wayne, Kent, Saginaw, Ingham, city of Detroit, i.e. some of the big ones) and ended up with 1400 districts. I could not find any anomalies when I plugged the data into this online Benford's Law calculator (https://benfords-law.netlify.app/)
Did someone collect all of the districts in all of the counties in all of the states? Or all of the counties? and if so, where can I find that data? Hope i didn't spend a couple hours on nothing because I fell for a larp.
I ran the calculation again on 2nd digit as they do on scientific data; fuck I don't want to disprove anything, but I also want more data to work with and googling isn't getting me jack shit
Just curious if someone is working on that or not
