He is Army, can’t say anything about other branches. But I will say when I was in they only thing we carried was our dog tags. Now they do have cards with info on them.

I will tell you my friend of 10+ years sat on my porch and told all of us there, as he pulled a blue card (used normally for information such as Chaplin and other preferences) that they are now using them for temporary stress cards. I know all about the rumors and snopes and the other crap. But he had no reason to lie to me and he hated they they were told to allow the recruits to use them. Don’t believe me if you want, that is up to you.

So much has changed in training and acceptance. Now a days, in boot they carry a card with them and if it seems to tough or they can’t take the “yelling”, they can pull it and the Drill SGT has to lay off.
