The people who should seek power do not and the people who do should never have power over anyone else. We are ruled over by psychopaths. I have often considered how to fight this corruption inherent to our system of government. I think it would help if while you served the people you got free goverment housing and were payed the national average salary. Then after your service is over you have a lifetime ban on lobbying. Also you can only be payed for a book on a percentage basis of what the book makes. Its going to take steps like these to clean the system up. Or we could just go back to a monarchy.
