True, I have epilepsy and it no doubt was costly to my parents in my youth with hospital visits, prescriptions, etc. Living independently today, medically managed. Where is the line drawn? Who makes the decision on when "quality of life" is not subjectively high enough to warrant allowing them come out of the womb alive?
I've had my eye on the Purism Librem 5 for a while, haven't pulled the trigger yet but they do carry a made in America model, which is pretty cool https://puri.sm/products/librem-5/pureos-mobile/
Couldn't have put it better myself... even some of my closest friends who I thought were smarter than all this are becoming mask Karens, shut-ins, or just praying for the vaccine "so we can get back to normal". It's sad to see
Side note, to this day I still think Pink Guy - Dumplings had some of the most clever lyricism George Miller has ever produced.
"They found me in the lab doing stem cell research, I was tryna grow you some balls
The police came but I ex-plained about your bitch and now they wanna pitch in and support the cause"
Still appreciate his newer stuff (as Joji) but he was on a whole other level back in his over-the-top Pink Guy days 😂
Nah the reference was to an IGN review of Spiderman Miles Morales, when the guy literally said that
Correct me if I'm wrong (cause i very well could be) but the way i read those reports are that they're lumping pneumonia, influenza, and covid into one statistic. In years past it's been just P&I. So it makes the data a whole lot less useful when trying to compare covid deaths to the others
I still can't believe this isn't a bigger deal. Like they just decided fuck it and they're not counting this year. Years from now there's gonna be a big ol gap in the data because they decided that the flu doesn't matter anymore. Why does that make any sense???
Stay salty my dems
