She was in way over her head; whole team behind an earpiece couldn't save her ass.

MSM, big tech, and the most corrupt government in US history impeached Trump (again). This guy not only got him acquitted, but he made everyone else look like fucking retards in the process.

Are you sure you want to spar with this guy on a broadcast?

I know we're all in love with the guy right now, but keep in mind he sued Trump last August on behalf of Melvin Johnakin on the premise Trump had “taken actions in the form of operational changes which will result in widespread, multiple-day delays in mail delivery and deprive Pennsylvania voters of the fundamental right to vote and have that vote counted.” Washington Post article here From the post article:

During the first two years of Trump’s presidency, van der Veen donated to prominent Pennsylvania Democrats, including Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr., one of the former president’s most vocal critics in the chamber. A spokesman for Casey’s office declined to comment on van der Veen’s representation of Trump.

Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.), who has received several political donations from van der Veen in recent years, said in an interview that she wondered whether Trump realizes he hired someone who recently went up against him in court.

I think people should understand that this guy is not so much a fren who wanted to fight a sham impeachment, but is a highly underrated lawyer who fights whatever case is in front of him.

That being said, I think he knew he was putting his career and his family's safety on the line when he took this case so I gotta give him props for that. Hopefully it redpills him.

A personal injury lawyer is used to operating within a set of rules, structure, and expected outcomes to play the game. When the dems changed the rules and threw due process out the window I think it aggravated him to a degree.

They just backtracked and decided to proceed without witnesses.

Trump’s team had most of the impeachment managers, Pelosi, and Bower on their list of witnesses, which might have something to do with the backpedal.

They really have no shame.

They already did this with the Steele Dossier and it blew up in their faces, and here they fucking go again.

PinkPlacenta 1 point ago +1 / -0

They just did.

Trump’s team made it clear that they would be calling Pelosi, Bowser, and the Sgt at Arms as witnesses in addition to 301 others and counting.

Dems caved almost immediately.

Should watch non-US broadcasts anyway; US Olympic coverage is abysmal.

95% is commentary or athlete backgrounds. Stop talking and let me watch the fucking events.

Good ol’ racism of lowered expectations.

Some schools in California reverted to pass/fail or no-fail grading, and stopped using homework deadlines.

Their explanation was literally “expecting minorities to accurately complete homework on time was unreasonable.”

I’ve met medical students who graduated after 8 years of school who had less debt than that.

She’s unemployable because anyone who spends $42.5k a year for an ART degree is clearly stupid as fuck and a liability to your business.

It’s a bogus survey. Usually when MSM talks about surveys they include a link to the actual survey which states its methodology, sampling methods, and a breakdown of results.

CNBC didn’t do that this time; they merely say they conducted an online poll of 1,000 people.

They clearly over sampled Democrats; they do this all the time.

When the party conventions happened every poll showed more support for the GOP except one, which is what CNN ran with.

They polled a Democrat activist group; there were more self-identifying liberals than conservative/independents combined, and they still barely cleared above 50% in favor.

They lowered the price by $100k and still couldn’t sell all the commercial time slots. Some companies that have aired commercials for the past 10 years are skipping.

NBC had to start giving free ad time to companies last year because they underdelivered on the viewer counts in their contracts.

Last Thanksgiving’s game saw a 50% decline in viewership from the previous year. If the super bowl follows a similar trend, it’s going to be the least watched game since Super Bowl V in 1971.

China’s been doing this for a while, it’s called Gray-Zone warfare. Send some planes in just enough to force Taiwan to activate its defense network, then turn around. Over and over. Induces crew fatigue/complacency and is expensive for a small nation to keep up with.

Telford Taylor's "The Anatomy of the Nuremberg Trials: A Personal Memoir" describes a scene that might be this.

tldr; Goering had a huge ego and was a famous "medal collector." A presenter misspoke on Hitler's line of succession and Goering corrected him by waving his arms shouting "I was the second!" The outburst of vanity made everyone laugh.

"On the third day of the trial I witnessed, by chance, an episode which, apparently, no one else noticed and which gave me an impression of Hess's condition. I was sitting in the courtroom at the American Prosecution table while Ralph Albrecht was delivering his lecture on German governmental structure. It was my first opportunity to scrutinize the defendants and their counsel at leisure and close range. I was not paying close attention to Albrecht's presentation, but I heard him say that Hitler's "successor-designate was first the Defendant Hess and subsequently the Defendant Goering." This I well knew to be in error. The names were right but the order was wrong; Goering was number two and Hess number three.

Since I was sitting barely twenty feet from those two gentlemen, I looked to see whether either of them had noticed the slip and, if so, how he reacted. Goering was already waving his arms to attract attention, pointing to himself, and saying repeatedly: "Ich war der Zweite!" ("I was the second!") As these protests were pouring out of Goering, Hess turned and looked at him and burst into laughter. It appeared to me that Hess also knew that Albrecht had misspoken (Albrecht corrected the order of succession at the end of his presentation), and was vastly amused by Goering's characteristically vain reaction. I inferred from this occurrence that Hess's amnesia was not as complete as he had given out."

It's a running gag.

Whenever Paul Rudd went on Conan to promote a new movie, he would always show the same clip from Mac and Me instead. He did it for over 15 years.

An analytics company called mobilewalla did some research last year and found out over 76% of BLM protestors are white. In Minneapolis 85% were white.

The actress from the live-action Mulan movie, Liu Yifei, is on Hunter Biden's laptop. She's lighting his crack pipe and gives him a footjob.

3 years ago I would've rolled my eyes in disbelief at a sentence like that, but here we are.

There are over 1,200 registered pharma lobbyists in DC, and the industry spends $233M+ a year on lobbying. Congress is bought and paid for.

Raise the price of insulin, because people need it to survive and have to buy it.

Xiden/Congress "save the day" by having the government cover most of the cost.

Pharma now has (another) direct pipeline to tax dollars and can rapidly increase the price every year with payment guaranteed.

Career politician retires on bribes and insider trading to one of their beach houses.

The WHO just announced that the PCR amplification is too high and pretty much anything will test positive.

Before that, an Austrian lawmaker showed the tests didn't work by getting a positive result from a sample of soda.

Before that, two scientists in France showed that even control samples were testing positive. Some of the controls were just water.
