I have recently been wondering if we need more actual requirements to vote.
Own land, have a family, military service, or at least something that means you have skin in the game. Not just a 18 year old kid who is pissed off that old guy who worked all his life is a millionaire and they believe that is ‘wrong’.

I spent high school in a shitty dem stronghold. Kids may repeat what parents say but 90% don't have a clue why they 'should' think that way. The teacher started a discussion on if gun control is good or bad. It was 90% against guns and the rest for. Asked me why and I had a decent answer. Another kid was super against it but when the time came they had no real idea why.
It was the same when in college.
Only a small percentage of Americans in the total population follow politics, let alone actually know all the little nuances and in-and-outs. Its the same reason we get fired up and angry at shit but your neighbor doesn't know or even give a shit. People are lazy fucks only concerned with our own little world for the most part.

They tried that in the suburbs outside Kenosha. Locals met them at city limits with guns. It never took off because those people wouldn’t take it. It’s the same reason you don’t hear about them going to towns in the rural areas. The people will come out with guns and the local cops will be with them.
I say fuck those people. They continue to vote the politicians in who encourage this bullshit. The rest who didn’t need to learn to come prepared or get ready to move.
