Ive never been stopped while wearing the mask wrong. I think it gives the same message with less time wasted with confrontation. I will wear shredded hole filled cloth masks under my nose, and Karens absolutely short circuit. Saying someone needs a mask is easy. Confronting someone that their useless mask is useless seems to be outside their risk/reward calculation.
