The story was slanted in that direction for sure. Think back to December of 2019. There were scenes on the evening news of dead bodies in the streets of Wuhan. How a sentence is worded is important. Branding a weapon as illegal is just wrong. This guy was illegally in possession of the weapon. If he had stolen a jelly donut, would the author have said "He had an illegal pastry product"?
It went on way too long. The cops obviously had complete control, and were just trolling this guy. At any point, they could have ordered him to spread eagle, and detain him without breaking a sweat.
I have the cure for his PTSD, it involves crawling down a hallway, begging for his life.
