Nah, the way she handled it was waaaaay better than just walking off. She schooled the host and made her and CNN look like a fool again and again.

That’s the sign of an open mind. Keep it up!

You’re absolutely right about (certain) women bending their beliefs to match people they like.

This is gonna sound ridiculous, but my now-wife was an actual communist when we met. She didn’t really care about politics that much, just kinda followed whatever her friends were doing. She still doesn’t care about politics that much, but she’s now a Trump supporter, so there’s that.

He’s not saying it shouldn’t happen, he’s saying it’s unlikely to be successful. The swamp has such deep roots.

But how would not letting mail-in voters vote for the president help them? They’re clearly trying to steal the election but I highly doubt this specific thing was part of their plan.

There’s no reason to believe that they’re not both evil AND stupid

I don’t think you’ll get downvoted for that. There aren’t many good responses to a heckler saying you don’t have a chance, and appearing humble is one of less shitty retorts

He was explaining why people like him, so yeah, in that context, by definition the only thing that matters is how they perceive him

Reading is hard, but keep trying. You’ll get there, sport

I will never invite them into my home

...k. Nobody asked

They are tainted for life

So if someone is a Dem when they’re young but eventually wisen up and become conservative, they’re still your “enemy”?

Because if that’s the case, you shouldn’t even be here. Trump himself was a democrat at one time, so he should be “tainted for life” (in your mind)

The fact that he doesn’t agree with Trump on everything, but can still acknowledge some good things about him is very respectable. This type of non-extremist thinking is extremely rare among leftists.

You’re probably just experiencing a placebo effect. In adults, excessive iodine consumption is not associated with improved cognition. In fact, one study showed that even in mildly iodine deficient (but otherwise healthy) adults, correcting that deficiency did not improve cognitive performance.

Moreover, excessive iodine consumption can actually be detrimental to cognitive function. So be careful about taking medical advice from people who aren’t medical professionals, ESPECIALLY those who are trying to sell you something
