I’m willing to listen but a clear message has to be laid out as well as accepting some responsibility for the situation we are in.

It can’t just be “white privilege”, “systemic racism” and other buzzwords/phrases. We’ve been reassigning blame and redistributing wealth since the Great Society. It hasn’t worked. Why is that? I feel that it is because in many cases the wounds are self inflicted but is never addressed because accountability for one’s actions is rarely accepted.

I mean I’m stunned that half of our country has been burned to the ground over police brutality incidents, many of which were due to the perpetrator being non compliant, aggressive and even attacking the police. How can any reasonable person embrace that?

I think there are exceptions. For example I have Chron’s and caffeine is an irritant. Doesn’t impact me too much but I try to keep caffeine to a minimum and like coffee.
