This is correct. Technically a presidential election doesn't even have to be on the ballot in a state (notwithstanding their own state laws).. based on the US Constitution, a legislature of a state gets to decide what electors they send. Our votes for POTUS are largely symbolic.
This is why it matters to have solid pedes in our state legislatures, not faggots and cucks like we obviously have now.
