Exactly this. I was talking to a liberal and I stated that the capital was breached but no politician was harmed. If this was a serious insurrection, there would have been a blood bath and the building would have been destroyed because there were hundreds of thousands of people. Trump supporters could technically still be occupying the capital. But they aren’t. One unarmed woman died and it was a Trump supporter. The liberal said, “yeah, it looked like they didn’t know what to do.” Meaning they were not a rabid, dangerous mob. The media is playing it up, but the 6th was 98% peaceful.

So, I got a snarky comment for I post I made about writing stuff down (journaling). I know this may sound silly to some people, but I encourage people to write down their thoughts on paper. Either in a word document or just a pen and paper. Before I get accused of stuff, 1) I am interested in history 2) the majority of history is pulled by what people wrote down. Anyone who journals will let you know, it can be helpful to help sort yourself out. A year from now, 10 years from now, you will thank yourself for writing crap down. Also, if you hate this type of thing, clean your house and exercise. It will give you a sense of control while you are waiting for the outcome. Take care.

The destruction to children is mind blowing. I’m a psychotherapist. We are screwing up a generation of children because of these lock downs. The mental health issues are ridiculous.
