I really like this thought and agree with you. Wouldn’t this make the viewers more aware/prone to recognize this pattern or behavior or events if they do see it on television? The felt recoil is greater I think. Not too certain if that’s fact or opinion. I had to do some playing around with buffer weights to get it right. I do have quite a few 9mm ARs and a Stribog that my girlfriend has had no complaints about, she actually enjoys shooting those the most. Sound is not as harsh as a 556. I guess that may depend on the barrel length you go with, and muzzle as well. I run 8” on most of mine. I do have one 16” rifle in 9mm that is both quiet and has no kick whatsoever.
