If you have 300 concert tickets to sell for $50 apiece, a scalper buying them all and flipping them for $100 apiece is not providing a service to anyone, no more tickets become available to the public, nobody is able to get to the concert who wouldn't otherwise be able to get in, and every single person who actually made the concert happen still only got $50 / ticket.
