Basically, Falun Gong is a religious organization that has been persecuted by the CCP for many years. Many of their followers emigrated to the US to avoid being tortured and killed, and they settled in the US because of the strong free speech laws.

The Epoch Times, along with NTD, and that “Shen Yun” dance troupe you see advertisements for in major US cities around the Chinese New Year are all associated with them.

I am not aware of anything shady associated with them, basically they and their followers are all big supporters of capitalism and democracy. They just want to be able to run their own businesses and be free from arbitrary persecution, so they heavily support Trump.

Other than that, the Epoch Times is just your normal national newspaper. They employ people of all races as far as I know, and they actually have pretty solid and factual reporting.
