At will employees can be terminated for any reason or no reason at all so long as the reason isnt based on a protected classification such as race, gender, religion, national origin. Political affiliation is not a protected classification.

Outside of circumstances indicating any kind of good cause employment contract or expectancy, or discrimination based on protected class status, sadly there is no recourse.
