So I work at a restaurant, and today after trying to keep my cool I got kind of angry. The cooks insist on playing their Spanish music daily for customers to hear. I told the cook I am changing the music to some nice Italian sounding music, since that is what the restaurant is...Italian! He started yelling at me saying the cooks speak Spanish. I was like, “The customers don’t.” He then kept yelling in ear shot of the customers.
So then he unplugs the speaker and sets it next to me. The thing is the owner doesn’t care what music is played. How do I assert my dominance, with the fact this is not a Spanish restaurant...and no one wants to hear fucking Reggeton.
