at least 3 or 4 "boosters" on top of the 2 "starters"

The deep state took their vax distribution strategy from Wizards of the Coast.

Had some white chocolate earlier. I noticed it didn't have soy in the ingredients list. I may never eat regular chocolate again.

Knowing nothing of how the writers did everything they could to buck Roddenberry's communist leanings. Knowing nothing of what they did after he died and their hands weren't tied at ALL anymore.

Their hands weren't tied, but there was definitely a struggle. Thank goodness the sensible side won out in the end.

The producers also toyed with the idea of ending the series with a shot of Benny Russell sitting outside a television sound stage holding a script for "Deep Space Nine" – essentially making the series, and possibly the whole of Star Trek, either a dream or a prophecy from the Bajoran Prophets – but this idea was ultimately rejected.

On K-7, Spock berates Jones for removing tribbles from their natural predators and letting them over-breed. Jones counters with excuses and insists that, at six credits each, they're making him money.

non-canon, just like the sequel trilogy of Star Wars. Period.

But those books were amazing.

  • Heir to the Empire

  • Dark Force Rising

  • The Last Command

Too bad they never made sequel movies. If they had, I'd always imagined Sean Connery would have made a great Grand Admiral Thrawn from his performance in Hunt for Red October. Also would have wanted Ricardo Montalban cast as Talon Karrde.

I loved the scene when Sisko's dad refused to take the security blood test. I'd guess he'd be against today's Covid paranoia.

"This business has got you so twisted around, you-you can't think straight. You're seeing shapeshifters everywhere! Maybe you ought to think about something for a minute: if I was a smart shapeshifter, a really good one, the first thing I would do would be to grab some poor soul off the street, absorb every ounce of his blood, and let it out on cue whenever someone like you tried to test me! Don't you see? There isn't a test that's been created a smart man can't find his way around. You aren't going to catch shapeshifters using some gadget!" - Joseph Sisko confronting his son over believing him to be a Changeling

It was a SJW shitshow.

They tried, but reality kept bitch slapping them.

Michael Piller pointed out that, in reality, when a foreign group of people come en masse to someone else's homeland, the natives seldom greet them with open arms and allow them to stay. Michael felt that the Bajorans should do the same thing, and I was pleased that he saw it that way. It was a brilliant stroke, and I admired his guts". - Frederick Rappaport

"We went back and forth over whether what these people were doing was a positive thing or a negative thing. Star Trek is such a tech show, and making these people antitechnology, it was almost like doing a negative show on Greenpeace." - Ira Steven Behr

The main villains for the series are literally gender fluid totalitarians who hate and fear everyone else for being "solids" (not gender fluids).

The much-feared aliens could still be viewed as a metaphor for other groups in Human history, with Wolfe likening them to "the Communists"

regarding DS9:

Just want to chime in that the first two seasons are just introduction of characters and factions to setup the action and drama that unfolds in the remaining five. There are multiple simultaneously running story arcs where plot points introduced early on aren't fully explored/resolved until several seasons later.

Maxine Waters seems to really hate cabinets:

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere!”

"Jabba the Hutt was one of the galaxy’s most powerful gangsters, with far-reaching influence in both politics and the criminal underworld. There were no second chances with Jabba, something Han Solo would find out -- though the slug-like alien would ultimately fall victim to his own hubris and vengeful ways." - starwars.com

President Trump will never do that. He will accuse his enemies of lying. But he will never admit that he was tricked.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
