Democracy by itself is just mob rule. Only works well when there are extensive protections for the minority. Those protections are being destroyed.

We did just fine without all these companies. Not worth giving them money anymore.

As long as you wrap your monopolistic, anti-competition practices in 'woke', it's OK, apparently. Placate the masses with TV shows and porn, and you can do whatever the fuck you want. I can only pray that this is so obvious that even a rock will recognize, but I won't get my hopes up...

It's being spread around social media by lefties trying to false flag conservatives.

The color scheme of the top one is definitely not what Trump supporters would use, lol. Whoever made it probably subconsciously projected their communist ideals with the colors they chose.

Just imagine all the horrible things people have done strictly for social media 'clout'. What if big tech companies had the same rules applied to them as they impose on others? They wouldn't be able to exist.

I bet most of these people were the "fuck the system" types just a few years ago, and now they're eager to put their brown shirts on and be the enforcers for their favorite politicians. Completely morally bankrupt.

No one will ever be able to answer that, because they're all following the same script. The best they can say is that Trump told people to go to the Capitol, while ignoring the fact that he said to be peaceful and absolutely didn't suggest or imply violence. It's braindead for people to even think that Trump would want a full siege on the Capitol, that would accomplish nothing for him. People are so blinded by their own idea of someone else's desires, that they can't see reality.

Not in the slightest. Everything they offer is a luxury. If they were to disappear overnight, everyone would just use some other similar service.

Hegemony is always the goal of authoritarians.

I love how people are now referring to the Capitol as "the sacred house of Democracy in North America" (per the article). Absolutely nothing sacred about the building where the people get stepped on, needless wars are started and trillions of dollars of taxpayer money is wasted.

They don't care. Leftists think it's always a good thing whenever something bad happens to anyone who is a target of the establishment. They are mindless sheep who will morph reality and move goalposts to fit events into their desired narrative. They will always find a way to justify any action that they perceive as being politically beneficial to them. It's some of the most disappointing human behavior I have seen in my life. It's really bad right now.

I don't get the impression that they are freaking out, but going for retribution to try to ensure that the 'Trump glitch' doesn't happen again.

I get the optics, and I'm not advocating for violence, but it's important to understand that they will be coming for the 2A regardless of what we do, the only thing that can change is the speed at which they do it, but with total control of the federal government, it is going to be very fast compared to previous congresses. I'm not advocating for violence, but I am advocating for a very fierce fight, and non-compliance with the new legislation that will be coming.

We are in a post-truth society. What actually happens doesn't matter, what does matter is how the press and politicians cover something. They can take something mundane and turn it into a huge deal, and then use that as justification for tyranny.
