I think they are trying to lower the value of the land in these areas. They must know businesses will close their doors as opposed to taking the hit to the bottom line when customers won’t patron their establishments. Small guy leaves, big box stores stay, land and home values go down and vulture capitalists move in.
Look at his history under Bush. He’s CIA and had a big hand to play in the Iran Contra fiasco. Furthermore, look at his latest initiative creating a pre-crime unit. This is where they claim to know you’re going to commit a crime before you commit a crime and trample all over our rights in the process. Read my first sentence again. I do agree there are issues within the tax code that should be addressed. That being said, I’m not sure you have taken to heart just how much these companies do pay in taxes. The lobbying for tax breaks and kickbacks is clearly an issue which should be contained. If you want to become more well versed on the issue, I suggest you risk all your money, start a business and sign a paycheck to under informed employees that call you an idiot.
One way of helping with anxiousness is to be mindful of how thoughts work. We don’t own our thoughts and feelings. They don’t belong to us. Thoughts arise in our mind from nowhere and go nowhere. The longer we hold on to them, the less mindful we become. When thoughts arise, identify them, consider them, then watch them flow by like swiftly moving traffic.

Although I agree there are many changes within the tax code that would help this particular situation, please don’t think these companies don’t pay taxes. They pay an enormous amount both directly and indirectly. As a business owner for 20 years I can tell you even if my profit margin is brought down to zero there is still the 941 payment which is 7.5% of every dollar every employee makes.( match payment for SS). That’s just the start of it as I also pay their 940 unemployment tax as well. Again, for every single employee. Then the government gets the tax revenue from each employee who’s check I’ve written. Yes, the check I’ve written by taking the risk to be in business and create jobs. It goes a lot further than this and do believe there are a shit ton of places the money has to go before the government considers the money taxable profit. This doesn’t even include the reduction from losses of previous years of doing business which can accrue for up to 10 years. I hope this starts to clear up some misconceptions as to why these companies aren’t exactly not paying taxes. They pay millions upon millions.

I’d like to point out that school policy which is the same all over the country, actually encourages bullying. By threatening all people involved in a fight with suspension, they put fear into the student who doesn’t want his or her grades to be affected by the automatic zero you receive by missing classes. The policy needs to go back to whomever started it gets the boot and not this draconian, blanket suspension for fighting back. Also, the school made excuses for these animals as to why it wasn’t what it looked like. It’s a hate crime because the boy is white. If the school won’t help to remove this sort of common attack on the weaker individual by enacting a common sense policy then it’s time to disassociate with all black kids. Even if it’s considered racist. What are we supposed to do? Send our kids to their ass kicking every morning? Also, fuck the administration, principal, vice principal and anyone else who claims to be an authority figure in this school.

It’s all about defending his client. It’s not about prosecuting the players.
