He had us. That’s all he needed.

That’s old. 4 years old.

Maybe he could have saved it, maybe not, but he didn’t do everything in his power to try.

I remember him saying once, “the power and authority retained by the president is total.” Something like that.

This is the truth. We were his army. All he had to do was give us the green light based on all his rhetoric to that point. Too late, now.

He can try and fight back, but he will never have the chance to make things right. He tried to play their game, on their playing field, but lost in the end.

Yes, and he won’t get another chance.

He suspected. That is all.

The alternative is what we have now, where he simply can’t be blamed for whatever happens. Either way, he sidestepped making a decision that would put potential loss of life upon his shoulders at the expense of fighting back against the commies.

“They’ll take your guns, they'll sell you out to china, they cheated,” He said. So the only explanation for not taking decisive action is he couldn’t handle the fact that his image would be tarnished. He also believes god will help or some shit and a moral high road is the answer to those with no conscience.

He was worried about optics. His Achilles heel.

He precipitated the whole thing by pulling away and trying to drive off instead of facing justice for the robbery/ assault with a stolen pistol. He had a warrant and shoulda just manned up and went to jail.

Just imagine it from this angle: If allowed to drive off in a high speed chase he very likely woulda killed an innocent motorist, the passenger or a bystander. This cop’s “mistake” removed the threat to law abiding citizens going about their day.

Inexperienced, out of her element and flustered. I guess a man could make the mistake, too, but this is likely part of having to hire people based on gender and a lack of quality applicants.

Anyone with over a personal amount is considered intent to distribute. One pound is far more than a smart person would buy, even for a discount.

3 strikes you're out. Guy has two priors and is on probation, then gets caught selling weed and goes to jail.

That’s a far cry from going to jail for a personal amount. I’m also old enough to remember the blanket of criminality that came with smoking buds, but never did it come with the assumption that prison would be on the other end of a couple joints.

The men who actually had some aggressive sentences over just weed were let out.

Just got a little more info. Felony aggravated assault/robbery with stolen .45 and some other misdemeanors and failures to appear.

What were his priors? Also, a pound isn’t that much in the grand scheme, but it’s also a long fucking way from “a joint.”

Personal use and distributing are two different animals. Still, I guarantee he had other offenses and pled down to a lesser charge.

It won’t go to the people and it won’t return the ability to create and retain wealth which is the basis for American capitalism.

What is happening is a slow shift, back and forth, between federal backing of the entire economy and corporate control of the market.

There’s such a grip on our economy that we’re stuck between an inflation time bomb and economic disobedience.

Yes, the actual amount that goes to our military is even lower when one actually accounts for both discretionary and non-discretionary spending.

Nobody is in jail for weed. Nobody.

These instances that appear to be incarceration for “a joint” are actually plea deals on much worse offenses. Sorry to bust your bubble, but you’re terribly incorrect.

Not sure if it’s still there, but I once went to “Monkey Jungle” in miami as a kid.
