If it was just about the beans, everyone would be doing it.

After they set up factories, learn how to make it, figure out the logistics of transporting their product, get a grip on marketing and trademarks,,,then you might be able to buy some from 7-11.

I wouldn’t hold your breath. All this will do is make good chocolate more expensive.

Honestly, what makes you think he would act any differently if he retains office?

The most he would do is talk about how unhappy he is with China and proudly proclaim victory based on a little bit of money coming in from tariffs.

Trump isn’t a fascist dictator with an iron fist.

You would need to test the lineage of the person. An individual born in America who practices Christianity could be any number of ethnicities. Probably a mix of many is the likely outcome considering the decades of immigration.

Even though they came over on a land bridge like every other group, Indigenous “native Indians” are the closest thing to ethnically American. Whites are essentially Western European, English, British and Scottish. What we politically describe as white American today is simply white Americans who are so far removed as to not consider themselves connected to their original heritage from the those who settled starting around the 1500”s.

The US is a clusterfuck of diversity with a large number of ethnicities, religions and races. There aren’t many places with the number of groups we have. As for religion, Christianity is the most practiced, but that started with the Romans and Jews in Judaea. It wasn’t until the 300’s when enough gentiles adopted the religion that it became a separate entity from Judaism.

The people that were having that problem had avant(?) or some other spyware that was preventing them from gaining access

Oh, it wasn’t just bats, but many different, highly deadly, highly communicable viruses and diseases which were being made more lethal and genetically modified.

He didn’t fund anything personally, but you’re right that the trump administration gave money for the “work” they do at the lab in wuhan.

See, when the world decided it was simply unethical to have a level 4 bio lab and rid their countries of them, China decided it was just fine and the world funded the research in turn.

All presidents face a virus of some sort. Obama had swine flu which infected 60 million Americans.

Fauci wasn’t being cryptic as much as pointing out Obama left the cupboards empty.

Fauci is a tool and he’s being used.

And it was raining, and those were metal steps with no real grip, and he wasn’t demented.

American is more so classified as a Nationality. Christian and Judaism are religions.

Jews of a very specific genetic lineage is considered an ethnicity. That’s the difference you’re missing is the biological aspect of the classification vs religious beliefs.

For example: An ashkenaz Jew might not practice Judaism, but he’s still a Jew due to his genes. On the flip side, a chinese person has no Jewish genetics, but might “convert” to Judaism if they like the religion. They will never be a phylogenetic “Jew”, however.

Another example: Two purebred German Rottweilers have a litter of puppies in the country of France. The puppies are still Rottweilers, not French poodles, and under the concept would be welcome home to Germany at any time.

This is the main issue Israel has to take into account. Every Jew born of certain genetics, regardless of location, is automatically welcome in Israel as a Jew. People who convert to Judaism or have no phylogenetic traits of Jews are not automatically welcome in Israel. They have to apply to emigrate.

If every Tom, dick and Harry were allowed to consider themselves a genetic Jew based on their religious beliefs, the genetic tree would be branched to oblivion in no time. There are only 6 million or so Jews in Israel of the 8 million-ish residents. If they want to survive without being watered down by the rest of the world’s genes they have to protect their ethnicity with strict immigration laws.

Phylogenetic. Descendant identity. This isn’t hard to understand.

There have been offshoots and mixing over the years of people who have similar religious beliefs, but being born to a specific group is what we’re talking about.

Calm down, tiger.

He should simply go at the pace that fits his ability. Trying to look like it’s an easy jaunt up the stairs for him is what caused this. The second trip up was worse because his leg really buckled and wouldn’t do what his mind was telling it.

You really could see his hesitation as he approached the stairs. Psyched himself out.

American isn’t an ethnicity. Neither is Christian.

Saying it’s safe is the real issue. If he were being completely honest, the reality is the long term effects aren’t known and it does carry immediate risks, too. He’s both relying on what he’s been told and supporting his decision to fast track this gene therapy.

It’s safe, but it can kill you. Those two are at odds with each other and require extreme caution when endorsing a product. Another aspect is the risk. The person getting the shot is taking all the risk with zero liability falling upon the pharmaceutical companies nor the FDA. This is another reality that they gloss over or don’t even mention at all.

No. Same as believing you’re a unicorn doesn’t make you a unicorn. Jew is an ethnicity which you’re born into. Yes, there’s a religious aspect, but “converting” only makes you someone that practices the religion.

The framing is bullshit. The info is “true.”
