He fought compliance at every turn, and frankly got the appropriate treatment. He also claims to be a medical officer yet seems to know nothing about OC spray even asking officers to pour water on his face which would have made it worse. He was doing everything he could to make those cops look bad but in the end he only makes himself look like an ass as far as I am concerned. The reality is this dude should not be an officer in the military, he can't even follow simple orders.

Well, for starters if he had not kept driving until he felt like pulling over he most likely would not have been in that situation in the first place. Second, you tell the officers " I am going to unlock the door". After unlocking the door you say "I am going to open the door". Use your hand to open the door with the outside handle. Now the officers can fully see you and see what you are doing. Now you say "I am undoing my seatbelt". I think you can figure out how it goes from there.
I get the feeling there is more to the story than what is shown in the two clips. I also know that if a cop tells you to get out of the car you comply (Pa vs Mimms) as it is a lawful order. If you don't comply expect to be pepper sprayed and tossed on the ground at best. If you feel you were wronged after the interaction you file a complaint, you don't sit there and resist during the incident as it only serves to escalate the situation.
