Well, "Communism" is used to name the beast by its proper name. Marxism seeks to invoke Socialism and then transition to its supposed Communist utopia. Communists are people who seek to achieve this step-wise transition. Communism is often conflated with all of those who lead towards the same direction, to any degree beyond moderate. You could argue that standing for moderate levels of Socialism (similar to Europe) is enabling higher levels of Socialism.

Now, regardless of that - what matters most is the direction people seek to achieve. Right-wingers lean towards 2 things fundamentally, and they vary in which to value higher: Libertarianism and Nationalism. Conservatism is kind of the compromise of both: Seeking a government that is small-medium in size (way less than currently) and is interested in the best of its own people without interfering too much in their private affairs.

As of Socialists, they seek a higher government size.(more than already is), more welfare, more (3rd world) immigration, more regulations, higher taxation. Now, the issue is in addition to that, that in order to make themselves relevant and be able to offer welfare, they have to cause degenerative and harmful effects on the country, so that they can compel people to vote for them. They also dominate the education system, effectively indoctrinating children and students, rendering people leftists by default. Corruption is a whole other issue as well, which is however prevalent all across government seemingly.

Now, everything I just listed for Socialists is exactly what the Democrats did or intend to do. There was a time when Democrats repeatedly rejected accusations of them being Socialists - now however there are openly self-admitted Socialists in their party, and quite renown among their voters (like AOC and Sanders). And then there are the vast amounts of connections to the Chinese Communist Party, which includes Biden, their presidential puppet.

Calling them Communists at this point, and therefore implying they are also Socialists, is not a reach any more. It's mostly true - that is the ruling ideology among Democrats. It is also meant as a provocative term, an insult to the degree they claim to reject that ideology.

The anti-Nazi "education" in Germany goes on for multiple decades (~50 years?). I learned in Germany history class about the horrors of Nazism, but nearly nothing about the horrors of Communism. The part about GDR was rather just objective and superficial, while the teacher was very enthusiastic about Nazism.

The system is deeply flawed, and both the GOP and Democrats benefit from that. Not that it's much better elsewhere - Germany has a Uni-Party consisting of ~5 parties as well. In Hungary you either vote Orban or you get socialists who push for 3rd world immigration.

I have no constructive solution to this problem beyond maybe create a LION party and put up a strong filter to who gets in. Maybe with a solid party constitution ensuring it won't get fucked up over time.
