Thank you for posting the video, it's short and very powerful. A couple of takeaways, aside from the obvious hero there.

1. There were two other heroes who were confronting this guy, both were shot, and I believe killed. One was slow in drawing his weapon, looks like he tried and missed, had to try again.
   Takeway: practice drawing and firing your weapon, just like the old guy who took him out.
2. The scumbag was actually sitting quietly in his pew before standing up and starting his attempted bloodbath. Takeaway: It can happen at anytime.
3. The two people closest to the shooter and in plain sight were taken out. I suspect this happens quite often but is pure conjecture. Certainly the guy trying to draw his weapon became an instant target. Takeaway: pretty obvious if you are close and the shooter is looking at you. Take action so people will remember you dying well, worst case scenario.
4. The old guy who shot him wasn't in sight of this lunatic, at least right away. If you are in a situation like that, the people on the periphery have slight advantage.
5. Calm cool and collected, it was amazing to watch.

And last but not least, notice that no "empowered women" stood up to take action. This is real life not the movies. So don't expect it as part of your plan. Not that there is a plan when this happens, it's all reactions, but you know what I mean. Hat off to the old guy, media will probably find faults with him, there aren't many people I admire in life anymore, but he's one of them.

Once again, they are rubbing our faces in it.

It's extremely concerning, every one of them has a vote that can cancel out any reasonably informed intelligent voter.

This is going to take years to fix, and has to start in our education system, which hasn't even started yet.

He may have been impeached, but it was completely partisan. History will look back on this and judge accordingly, ie one party trying to remove a president because they don't like him.

Except the governor is following orders from his donors, like most of our political establishment. What the serfs, er people, want is largely ignored.

These guys were absolutely brilliant in their understanding of human nature.
