Yup. I manage my own retirement investments. Liquidated all my shares and started buying put options (basically betting that a stock will drop under $X by a certain date) and have made about 60% on my trades in the past two weeks.
Contrast that to my co-workers who just lets American Funds manage their portfolios who are mostly down 1-5%.

Yeah, there will be a lot of things starting out. You have to remember this "Reddit" was from when it was still open-source, which was until like 2014, so that's nearly six years of bugs and missing features compared to reddit.
