I agree, Trump is one of the only politicians i know whose (whom? literally have never learned the difference and i don't care) popularity increases with visibility and time in front of teh camera, unscripted. I serve on the school board of a small private school. We have some teachers with "high risk" relatives but they will need to take precautions beyond what we are implementing for fall classes. To me, the teachers are there to serve the children. The biggest pediatric association in the US strongly came out to state that the dangers to the students not returning to school outweighs any risk for fall classes resuming in person and that it is essential for the well-being of the child's emotional, psycological and cerebral development. npr even wrote an article about it on June 29. Teachers are there to serve the child. do your job. implement simple precautionary measures and get on with it like Denmark and Sweden and other nations that lead in education worldwide. I am just expecting some big marches int eh street from "teachers" protesting the admin for endangering their "health". we will see what's in store.but this article leads me to believe that is exactly the next play.

I do wish Terry Crews would have rebuffed Don's comment that "this movement is only about police brutality" with a call to acknowledge the fact that police only come to the scene if someone is breaking the law. With black on black crime at an all time high, police have more encounters with blacks in very volatile situations so yes, Don, this is about crime, and black on black crime is a piece of that. Obviously, we want bad cops out of the force, but any movement about "police brutality" is inherently tied to crime amongst the black community. They are inexorably tied.

its barely victory whatsoever. The adversary was 99% a bunch of hooligan kids/addicts/vegrants. it's like celebrating when the varsity high school 5A team takes down the 4th grade field day potato sac race champions. Although, calling Seattle police a varsity team is probably a bit of an overstatement. It is embarrassing it has taken this long, that violence went ignored, businesses destroyed and Seattle provided ground zero of a national embarrassment our international allies and foes alike will use against us. I hope the businesses affected and residents ruthlessly pursue the state for damages especially since day one President Trump was ready and willing to send any and allfederal resources to bring it under control.
