Sure thing, it’s a glock 17 gen 3 and the color is OD green. You can probably get a newer generation, I think the current one is gen 5 but in California they only allow up to gen 3.
Since I’m new to guns as well I can’t really say its pros and cons for open carry but from things I’ve read I think it’d be a fine choice. A lot of officers use a glock 17 or the 19 which is a bit smaller.
I’m hoping things start to turn around here because I’ve seen a lot more Trump support locally but it’s still iffy. If things don’t improve within the next year I’ll try to get refugee status in a red state. It’s be nice to have a red Cali though.
